第二、部曲者，謂本是賤品，賜姓從良而未離本主，本主身死，可入常住，衣資畜產，隨身所屬，不合追奪。若本擬盡形供給，手疏分明者，準《毘尼母論》放去。

Second, hereditary retainers (buqu) refers to those who were originally of base rank and were granted a surname to become commoners, yet have not left their original master. When the original master dies, they may enter the permanent property; their personal robes, provisions, and livestock belong to their own persons and must not be confiscated. If they were originally intended to provide lifelong service and the signed document is clear, according to the Vinayamātṛkā, they should be released.
