四、五兵戎器。律本中不許比丘見諸兵戰，乃至戲笑等。《善見》云，若施器仗者，僧應打壞，不得賣。《薩婆多》云，若以似寶或作男子莊嚴具，如矛矟軍器樂器，不得手投。

Fourth: the five types of military weapons. In the root Vinaya, bhikṣus are not permitted to watch armies fighting, down to playing around with them. The Samantapāsādikā states: "If weapons are donated, the saṅgha should smash and destroy them; they must not be sold." The Sarvāstivāda states: "If items made of faux jewels or made as men's accoutrements, such as spears, lances, military weapons, and musical instruments, one must not take them into one's hands."
