此第四文，明致敬之因本也。如俗《禮》云「無不敬，儼若思，安定詞，傲不可長，欲不可縱，志不可滿」是也。

This fourth text clarifies the underlying causes of paying reverence. It is just as the secular Book of Rites says: “In all things let there be reverence; deport oneself as if in deep reflection; speak with calm and steady words; arrogance must not be allowed to grow; desires must not be indulged; ambitions must not be completely satisfied.”
