寄緣真俗五（謂法被權道，情投業理，心形兩位，指月雙筌。或以鄙俗淺度，不識分量，罔冐入真，實為沈俗。）

Grounding the Ultimate and the Conventional in Conditions (Meaning that the Dharma accommodates the provisional path, inclinations conform to karmic principles, and mind and bodily form occupy two positions, like the dual fish-traps pointing toward the moon. Or, through the shallow estimation of the vulgar world, failing to recognize one's proper measure, one rashly attempts to enter the ultimate, which truly amounts to sinking into the conventional.)
