引教徵迹六（謂末法根鈍，多封性習，須引聖言，以為教量。今以四依檢行，四印徵明，無涉浮言，飾詐斯絕。）

6. Citing the Teachings and Verifying the Traces (Meaning that in the Degenerate Dharma faculties are dull, and many are bound by inborn habits, so that sacred words must be cited as authoritative teaching. Now, by using the four reliances to examine practice and the four seals to verify and illuminate, one avoids involvement in superficial talk, and simulated fraud is thereby severed.)
