《華嚴經》云：「觀察諸法及眾生，國土世間悉寂滅，心無所依無妄想，是名正念佛菩提。」又云：「若欲得佛智，當離諸妄想，有無俱通達，疾作天人師。」

The Avataṃsaka Sūtra says: 'Observing all dharmas and sentient beings, / the lands and the world are entirely quiescent; / when the mind has no reliance and has no delusional thoughts, / this is called correct mindfulness of the Buddha's bodhi.' It also says: 'If one wishes to attain the Buddha's wisdom, / one should abandon all delusional thoughts; / thoroughly penetrating both existence and nonexistence, / one quickly becomes a Teacher of Gods and Humans.'
