答云：「像是秦穆公所造，像出處是周穆王造寺處也。佛去世後，育王第四女又造像塔，於此供養。于時此寺有三果人住中，秦相由余常所奉敬。往者迦葉佛時，亦於此立寺，是彼沙彌顯際造也，仍其本名以為寺額。」

He replied: “The image was made by Duke Mu of Qin; the place where the image emerged was where King Mu of Zhou built a monastery. After the Buddha's demise, King Aśoka's fourth daughter also made an image and pagoda, making offerings there. At that time, a person of the third fruit dwelt in this monastery, and the Qin prime minister Youyu constantly revered it. Long ago, in the time of Kāśyapa Buddha, a monastery was also established here, made by that novice Xianji, and his original name was retained for the monastery placard.”
