答云：「諸鬼神中貧富不定，各是往業，如人不殊。天中亦爾，隨其所有而用供養此塔。」（云云。）
He replied, "Among the various ghosts and spirits, poverty and wealth are unfixed; each depends on past karma, no different from humans. It is also thus in the heavens: each makes offerings to this stūpa according to what they possess." (And so forth.)
