1.33

又復歸依十方盡虛空界一切三寶，唯願必定來愍我三毒苦，施令得安樂及與大涅槃。以大悲水洗除垢穢，令至菩提畢竟清淨。六道四生有此罪者同得清淨，成就阿耨多羅三藐三菩提究竟解脫。相與志心等一痛切，五體投地心念口言：（某甲）等自從無始以來至于今日，無明所覆、愛使所纏、瞋恚所縛，墮在愚網，經歷三界備涉六道，沈淪苦海不能自拔。不識往業過去因緣，或自破淨命、或破他淨命，自破梵行、破他梵行，自破淨戒、破他淨戒，如是罪惡無量無邊。今日慚愧懺悔，願乞除滅。

Furthermore, we take refuge in all the Three Jewels throughout the ten directions and the entirety of space. We only pray that you will without fail come and take pity on our sufferings from the three poisons, granting us peace and happiness and great nirvāṇa; that you will wash away our defilements with the water of great compassion, causing us to become ultimately pure as far as bodhi. May all beings in the six destinies and four modes of birth who have these sins likewise attain purity, and achieve anuttarā samyaksambodhi and ultimate liberation. Together, with sincere minds and equal poignancy, prostrating with our five limbs touching the ground, mindfulness in our hearts and words on our lips, we say: Since beginningless time down to the present day, we, [so-and-so] and others, have been shrouded by ignorance, entangled by the underlying afflictions of craving, bound by anger, fallen into the net of delusion, passed through the three realms, and traversed the six destinies, sinking in the ocean of suffering unable to pull ourselves out. Not recognizing past karmas and previous causes and conditions, we have destroyed our own pure livelihoods or destroyed those of others, destroyed our own brahma-conduct or destroyed that of others, destroyed our own pure precepts or destroyed those of others. Sins and evils such as these are limitless and boundless. Today, with shame and remorse, we repent, praying to eradicate and extinguish them.
