1.36

又復無始以來至于今日，依於六根、行於六識、取於六塵，眼著色、耳著聲、鼻著香、舌著味、身著細滑、意著法塵，起種種業，乃至開八萬四千塵勞門。如是罪惡無量無邊，今日懺悔願乞除滅。

Furthermore, since beginningless time down to the present day, based on the six sense faculties, functioning through the six consciousnesses, and grasping at the six sense objects: our eyes have been attached to forms, our ears attached to sounds, our noses attached to odors, our tongues attached to tastes, our bodies attached to smooth textures, and our minds attached to mental phenomena, giving rise to all kinds of karma, even opening the eighty-four thousand gates of defilement. Sins and evils such as these are limitless and boundless; today we repent, praying to eradicate and extinguish them.
