1.34

We, [so-and-so] and others, once again with utmost sincerity prostrate with our five limbs touching the ground. Furthermore, since beginningless time down to the present day, based on body, speech, and mind, we have committed the ten unwholesome actions: in body, killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct; in speech, false speech, frivolous speech, divisive speech, and harsh cursing; in mind, covetousness, anger, and delusion. We have committed the ten unwholesome actions ourselves, instructed others to commit the ten unwholesome actions, praised the practices of the ten unwholesome actions, and praised those who commit the ten unwholesome actions—in a single thought, thus giving rise to forty kinds of evil. Sins such as these are limitless and boundless; today we repent, praying to eradicate and extinguish them.
