We also vow that all sentient beings of the ten directions, from this day forward, in every place they are born, will each attain the mouth of inconceivable merit of all Buddhas and great bodhisattvas: a gentle mouth; an amṛta mouth bringing peace and bliss to all; an unfailing mouth bringing refreshing coolness to all; a mouth that speaks the true Dharma and genuinely turns [the Dharma wheel]; a revered mouth with no false speech even in dreams; a profound mouth venerated and respected by Indra, Brahmā, and the Four Kings; a steadfast mouth revealing all phenomena; an upright mouth expounding the non-retrogressing Dharma; an adorned mouth fully endowed with eloquence; and a mouth that universally manifests all expressions in accordance with the times and deeds, delivering and liberating all in accordance with what is appropriate. We vow that all sentient beings in the four modes of birth and six destinies will fully possess the pure verbal karma of Buddhas and bodhisattvas.
