若聞無作一句,例亦如此。若聞無作,謂非佛、天、人、修羅所作;二乘證此無作。《思益》云:「我等學於無作,已作證得,而菩薩不能證得(云云)」。若聞無作,謂三乘皆能證得。若聞無作,謂非二乘境界,況復凡夫?菩薩破權無作,證實無作。若聞無作,謂即權無作證實無作。若得此意,隨聞一句,通達諸句,乃至一切句、一切法而無障礙(云云)。

If one hears the phrase "uncreated" (akṛta), the pattern is likewise this: If one hears "uncreated," one may take it to mean that it is not created by Buddhas, devas, humans, or asuras, and that the two vehicles realize this uncreated. As the Siyi says: "We have trained in the uncreated and have already realized it, whereas bodhisattvas cannot realize it," and so forth. Or, upon hearing "uncreated," one may say that all three vehicles are able to realize it. Or, upon hearing "uncreated," one may say that it is not the realm of the two vehicles, much less ordinary beings, and that bodhisattvas dismantle the provisional uncreated to realize the true uncreated. Or, upon hearing "uncreated," one may say that the provisional uncreated is itself the realization of the true uncreated. If one attains this meaning, then following any single phrase heard, one thoroughly penetrates all phrases, and even all phrases and all dharmas, without obstruction, and so forth.
