1.134

經言：「我不欲令無生法中有修道，若四念處乃至八聖道。我不欲令無生法中有得果，若須陀洹乃至阿羅漢。」依例亦應言：「我不欲令無生法中有色受想行識，我不欲令無生法中有貪欲瞋恚癡。」但愍念眾生，興誓願，拔兩苦，與二樂。以達苦集空，故非九縛；達道滅空，故非一脫。是為非縛非脫發真正菩提心，顯是義明矣。

A sūtra says: 'I do not wish that within the dharma of non-arising there be cultivation of the path, whether the four smṛtyupasthānas up to the eightfold noble path. I do not wish that within the dharma of non-arising there be attainment of the fruits, whether the srotāpanna up to the arhat.' Following this model, one should also say: 'I do not wish that within the dharma of non-arising there be form, feeling, perception, mental formations, or consciousness; I do not wish that within the dharma of non-arising there be greed, hatred, or delusion.' One merely takes pity on sentient beings, gives rise to vows, eradicates the two kinds of suffering, and bestows the two kinds of happiness. Because one realizes that suffering and accumulation are empty, it is not the nine bondages; because one realizes that the path and cessation are empty, it is not the single liberation. This is generating the true aspiration for bodhi that is neither bondage nor liberation, and the meaning of revealing the correct is made clear.
