Regarding identity in the ultimate: turning from equal enlightenment in a single revolution, one enters wondrous enlightenment; the light of wisdom is fully complete and cannot be further increased, which is called the 'fruit of bodhi'. The abandonment of great nirvāṇa cannot be further abandoned, which is called the 'fruit of fruits'. Equal enlightenment cannot penetrate it; only a Buddha can penetrate it. Beyond the ultimate, there is no path that can be spoken of; hence it is called 'ultimate bodhi', and also called 'ultimate calming and contemplation'. To illustrate this generally with a parable: it is like a poor person who has a treasure-house at home but is unaware of it; when a spiritual friend points it out, he comes to know it; he weeds away the grasses and filth, digs it up, and gradually draws near to it; having drawn near, the treasure-house is opened, and he fully takes and uses it. This can be understood by matching it with the six parables (and so forth).
