Regarding identity in partial realization of reality: through the power of contemplation in conformity, one enters the stage of the bronze wheel, first breaking through avidyā, seeing the Buddha-nature, opening the treasure-house, and manifesting suchness; this is called the 'abode of bringing forth the mind' (prathamacittotpādika), up to 'equal enlightenment', where avidyā becomes tenuous and wisdom grows ever more evident—just as from the first day to the fourteenth day, the moonlight approaches full roundness and darkness approaches extinction. If there are people who should be delivered through a Buddha-body, one immediately accomplishes the eight aspects of the path; if there are those who should be delivered through a body of the nine dharmadhātus, one manifests through the universal gate, as extensively explained in the sūtras. This is called 'bodhi of partial realization of reality', and also called 'calming and contemplation of partial realization of reality' and 'wisdom and abandonment of partial realization of reality'.
