All the above are true words from the golden mouth [of the Buddha], the Dharma reverenced by the Tathāgatas of the three periods of time. The past of the past is far distant and ancient, having no discernable beginning; the present of the present is boundless and limitlessly vast; the future of the future unfolds successively without end. If the past, present, and future are inconceivable, one should know that calming and contemplation is the teacher of all Buddhas. Because the Dharma is eternal, all Buddhas are also eternal, and bliss, self, and purity are likewise so. With such citations and proofs, how could one not believe?
