摩訶止觀 1.61

1.61

若其心念念知善惡輪環，凡夫耽湎，賢聖所呵，破惡由淨慧，淨慧由淨禪，淨禪由淨戒，尚此三法如飢如渴，此發無漏心、行二乘道。

If in thought after thought one knows the cycle of good and evil, in which ordinary worldlings indulge and which sages reprimand, and knows that destroying evil relies on pure wisdom, pure wisdom relies on pure dhyāna, and pure dhyāna relies on pure precepts, thirsting and hungering for these three dharmas, this is generating the outflow-free mind and traversing the path of the two vehicles.
