10.24

若於觀支思惟通教四門之解，是界內幻夢；此夢從眠法生，眠即無明。觀無明入法性，亦有四門。或言法性如井中七寶；或言如虛空；或言如酒酪瓶；或言中道。此四解明利，即是別教四門見發也。

If within the contemplation factor one ponders that the understanding of the four gates of the shared teaching is an illusory dream within the realms; this dream arises from the state of sleep, and sleep is avidyā. Contemplating avidyā to enter dharmatā also has four gates. One either says that dharmatā is like the seven treasures in a well; or says it is like empty space; or says it is like a jar of fermented milk; or says it is the middle way. When these four understandings are luminous and sharp, this is the arising of the views of the four gates of the distinctive teaching.
