If they were empty, they should not possess the ten dharmadhātus; the dharmadhātus arise from conditions, yet their substance is again non-existent. Because non-existent, they are empty; because not empty, they are existent; obtaining neither emptiness nor existence, yet simultaneously illuminating both emptiness and existence, the three truths are manifest, complete with the Buddha's knowledge and vision, fully and distinctly clear regarding the mind of the four movements. Contemplating the mind of the four movements in the five receptions of sounds, scents, tastes, touch, and phenomena, perfectly awakening to the inconceivable three truths, is also like this. It can be understood by analogy with the above; there is no need to record it again in detail.
