3.148

若破四性境智，此名「實慧」。若四悉檀赴緣說四境智者，此名「權慧」。如是境智，凡夫兩失，二乘一得一失，菩薩兩得。何以故？

If one breaks through the four natures of realm and wisdom, this is called "real wisdom." If, responding to conditions, one expounds the four realms and wisdoms via the four siddhāntas, this is called "expedient wisdom." Regarding such realm and wisdom, ordinary persons have both losses, the two vehicles have one attainment and one loss, and bodhisattvas have both attainments. Why is this?
