If the distinctive is viewed against the shared, the shared teaching's two attainments are both conceivable, while the distinctive teaching's two attainments are both inconceivable. If the perfect is viewed against the distinctive, the distinctive teaching's doctrinal and realized attainments are both conceivable. Why is this? The expedient gates of teaching either state that avidyā gives rise to all dharmas, or state that dharmatā gives rise to all dharmas, or state that conditioned cultivation reveals true cultivation, or state that the true reveals itself. Grasping this turns back into the fault of inherent nature, falling into the conceivable. If one realizes the path, then it is inconceivable.
