若人欲聞正因緣，為說三藏；欲聞因緣即空，為說通觀；欲聞歷劫修行，為說別觀；欲聞即中，為說圓觀。是名隨「世界悉檀」，亦名隨「樂欲」，為實施權說權實止觀也。

If someone desires to hear of correct causes and conditions, he expounds the Tripiṭaka for them; if they desire to hear that causes and conditions are identical to emptiness, he expounds the shared contemplation for them; if they desire to hear of practicing through kalpas, he expounds the distinctive contemplation for them; if they desire to hear of immediate identity with the middle, he expounds the perfect contemplation for them. This is called according with the "worldly siddhānta," and is also called according with "joyful desires," applying the provisional for the sake of the real in expounding the provisional and real calming and contemplation.
