4.64

今欲懺悔，應當逆此罪流，用十種心翻除惡法。先正信因果決定孱然。業種雖久，久不敗亡；終無自作他人受果。精識善惡，不生疑惑，是為深信，翻破一闡提心。

Now, wishing to repent, one should go against this stream of sin and use the ten minds to overturn and eradicate evil dharmas. First, correctly having faith that cause and effect are definitely and unmistakably real. Though the seeds of karma endure for long, though long they do not decay or perish; never does one act oneself while another receives the fruit. Accurately discerning good and evil without giving rise to doubt—this is deep faith, which overturns and breaks the icchantika mind.
