百一長衣者，即是一切行行助道之法，助成三觀，共蔽諸惑，嚴於三身。此是歷諸法修忍為衣也。

The one hundred and one extra robes are all the practices of the path that assist the path, assisting in the completion of the three contemplations, jointly concealing all delusions and adorning the three bodies. This is practicing patience across all phenomena as clothing.
