5.13

若識見為非，息其妄著，貪、瞋利鈍，二俱不起，無智者謂證涅槃；小乘亦有橫計四禪為四果；大乘亦有魔來與記。並是未得謂得增上慢人。故次見說慢。

If one recognizes views to be mistaken and puts an end to one's delusional attachments, so that neither sharp nor dull greed and anger arise, the ignorant say they have realized nirvāṇa. In the Hīnayāna, there are also those who wrongly assume the four dhyānas to be the four fruits [of arhatship]; in the Mahāyāna, there are also cases where māras come to bestow prophecies. All of these are people of excessive pride who claim to have attained what they have not attained. Therefore, following views, pride is expounded.
