5.17

又若不解諸境互發，大起疑網；如在岐道，不知所從。先若聞之，恣其變怪，心安若空。互發有十，謂：次第不次第、雜不雜、具不具、作意不作意、成不成、益不益、久不久、難不難、更不更，三障四魔，九雙七隻。

Furthermore, if one does not understand how the various realms mutually arise, great webs of doubt will emerge, like being at a crossroads not knowing which way to turn. If one has heard of this beforehand, one lets their strange transformations take their course, and the mind remains secure as space. The mutual arisings are of ten kinds: sequential and non-sequential, mixed and unmixed, complete and incomplete, intentional and unintentional, successful and unsuccessful, beneficial and unbeneficial, long-lasting and brief, difficult and not difficult, recurring and non-recurring, along with the three obstacles and four māras, and the nine pairs and seven singles.
