5.222

如來教門示人無諍法，消者成甘露，不消成毒藥。實語是虛語，生「語見」故，故於四門、十六門，起見、起假（云云）。

The Tathāgata's teaching gates show people the teaching of non-contention: for those who digest it, it becomes amṛta; for those who do not digest it, it becomes poison. True words become false words because one gives rise to the "view of words"; therefore, with respect to the four gates and the sixteen gates, views arise and provisionalities arise (and so forth).
