三、明破見位者：若修此方法，明識四諦，巧用觀慧，諸見被伏者，依三藏法是總別念處，正伏四倒；四倒不生，煖即得發，成方便等位；進破諸見，發真成聖，即初果位也。若依通教伏見之位，是乾慧地；若得理水沾心，即成性地；若進破見者，即是八人、見地位也。若依別教伏見者，是鐵輪十信位；破見，是銅輪十住位。若依圓教伏見，是五品弟子位；破見，是六根清淨位。

Third, explaining the stages of refuting views: If one cultivates this method, clearly discerning the four truths, skillfully employing contemplative wisdom, and the various views are subdued: according to the Tripiṭaka Dharma, these are the general and specific smṛtyupasthānas, directly subduing the four inversions; when the four inversions do not arise, warmth can then arise, constituting stages such as skillful means; advancing to refute the various views, one manifests the true and becomes a sage, which is the stage of the first fruit. If according to the shared teaching's stage of subduing views, it is the stage of dry wisdom; if one obtains the water of principle moistening the mind, it becomes the stage of nature; if one advances to refute views, it is the stage of the eight persons and the stage of seeing. If according to the distinctive teaching one subdues views, it is the stage of the ten faiths of the iron wheel; refuting views is the stage of the ten abodes of the copper wheel. If according to the perfect teaching one subdues views, it is the stage of disciples of the five ranks; refuting views is the stage of the purification of the six sense faculties.
