6.88

○入假因緣者，略言有五。一、慈悲心重：初破假時，見諸眾生顛倒獄縛不能得出，起大慈悲，愛同一子。今既斷惑入空，同體哀傷倍復隆重；先人後己，與拔彌篤。

Clarifying the causes and conditions for entering the provisional: briefly stated, there are five. First, the weight of the mind of compassion: when first breaking the provisional, seeing that sentient beings are bound in the prison of inversion and unable to escape, one gives rise to great compassion, loving them as an only child. Now, having severed delusions and entered emptiness, one's grief over shared identity becomes doubly profound; placing others before oneself, bestowing [joy] and pulling [out suffering] become increasingly sincere.
