7.123

業報智力者，知四種集是知業，知苦是知報，道滅亦爾。分別四種業報淺深不謬，是二力也。知禪定力者，四種道諦中八定，分別深淺，照了不差，是三力也。知根、欲、性力者，知過去苦集不同名根力；知現在苦集樂欲不同名欲力；知未來苦集得失不同名性力。是四五六力也。知至處道力者，知四道諦所至之處，是七力也。知宿命、天眼力者，照過去一世多世、種性好惡、壽命長短名宿命力；照未來生處好醜名天眼力。是名八九力也。漏盡力者，四種滅諦所證無漏心慧等解脫也。

As for the power of the knowledge of karmic retribution: knowing the four kinds of accumulation is knowing karma; knowing suffering is knowing retribution; the path and cessation are also like this. Discerning without error the shallow and deep of the four kinds of karma and retribution is the second power. As for the power of knowing dhyāna-concentration: discerning the deep and shallow of the eight concentrations within the four kinds of the truth of the path, illuminating them without error, is the third power. As for the powers of knowing faculties, desires, and dispositions: knowing the differences in past suffering and accumulation is called the power of faculties; knowing the differences in present desires regarding suffering and accumulation is called the power of desires; knowing the differences in future gain and loss regarding suffering and accumulation is called the power of dispositions. These are the fourth, fifth, and sixth powers. As for the power of knowing the paths leading to all destinations: knowing the destinations to which the four truths of the path lead is the seventh power. As for the powers of knowing past lives and the divine eye: illuminating past single or multiple lifetimes, the excellence or baseness of lineage, and the length of lifespan is called the power of past lives; illuminating the excellence or ugliness of future rebirth locations is called the power of the divine eye. These are the eighth and ninth powers. As for the power of the exhaustion of outflows: the undefiled liberation of mind and liberation by wisdom, and so forth, realized through the four kinds of the truth of cessation.
