攝四攝者：若布施攝，即四種道品中除、捨覺分也。愛語，即四種道品中正業、語、命也。利行、同事，即四種道品八定；定有神力，故能利行、同事（云云）。

Subsuming the four means of embracing: Giving as a means of embracing is the elimination and equanimity limbs of awakening in the four kinds of the factors of the path. Kind speech is right action, right speech, and right livelihood in the four kinds of the factors of the path. Beneficial action and sharing their lot are the eight meditative absorptions in the four kinds of the factors of the path; because meditative absorption has spiritual power, it can perform beneficial action and share their lot (and so on).
