8.150

精進相者：或見精進人；或見己精進事；見身多氣力盛壯英雄；或見常行精進人晝夜無廢稱讚精進。是進報果相。或不見相但發精進心，初、中、後夜不自惜身；或通達精進法門。是名精進習因相。前、後、俱、雜，可以意知。

As for signs of vigor: one may see a vigorous person; or see one's own acts of vigor; or see one's body full of energy, robust, and heroic; or see a person who constantly practices vigor day and night without cease praise vigor. These are signs of retribution effects of vigor. Or one may not see signs but simply give rise to a vigorous mind, not sparing one's body in the early, middle, and late night; or penetrate the Dharma-door of vigor. These are called signs of habituated causes of vigor. Earlier, later, together, or mixed can be understood by inference.
