若知魔、佛皆入實際，則無怖畏。《大經》云：「為聲聞人說有調魔；為大乘者不說調魔。」一心入理，誰論強軟耶？
If one knows that both māras and buddhas enter the limit of reality, there is no fear. The Dajing says: 'For śrāvakas, taming māra is spoken of; for Mahāyāna practitioners, taming māra is not spoken of.' When one single-mindedly enters the principle, who speaks of hard or soft?
