8.40

若內外障起，當好安忍。忍若不過，敗壞菩薩；安忍不動，薩埵可成，即獲償賜似道禪慧。

If internal or external obstacles arise, one should patiently endure them well. If endurance does not overcome them, it will ruin the bodhisattva; if one patiently endures without wavering, the sattva can be perfected, and one will directly obtain the reward of resemblance-path meditation and wisdom.
