8.44

又十六句出涅槃。初根本四句者，謂：不斷煩惱不出涅槃、斷煩惱出涅槃、亦斷亦不斷煩惱亦出亦不出、非斷非不斷非出非不出。一一句各四句。

Furthermore, there are sixteen propositions on emerging from nirvāṇa. The initial fundamental four propositions are: not severing defilements and not emerging from nirvāṇa; severing defilements and emerging from nirvāṇa; both severing and not severing defilements, and both emerging and not emerging; neither severing nor not severing, and neither emerging nor not emerging. Each and every proposition has four propositions.
