8.55

第二四句者：諸法不生、般若不生；諸法不生、般若生；諸法不生、般若亦生亦不生；諸法不生、般若非生非不生。初句謂真境發一切智般若，二句謂真境發道種智般若，三句謂真境雙發兩般若，四句謂真境發中道智般若。

The second four propositions are: all dharmas do not arise, prajñā does not arise; all dharmas do not arise, prajñā arises; all dharmas do not arise, prajñā both arises and does not arise; all dharmas do not arise, prajñā neither arises nor does not arise. The first proposition refers to the true realm giving rise to the prajñā of the knowledge of all; the second proposition refers to the true realm giving rise to the prajñā of the knowledge of the aspects of the path; the third proposition refers to the true realm giving rise to both prajñās; the fourth proposition refers to the true realm giving rise to the prajñā of the knowledge of the middle way.
