○第四、明修止觀者：若行人發得諸禪，無有方便，貪著禪味，是菩薩縛；隨禪受生，流轉生死。若求出要，應當觀察十意（云云）。

Fourth, to explain the cultivation of calming and contemplation: if a practitioner brings forth the dhyānas without skillful means and greedily clings to the taste of dhyāna, this is the bondage of a bodhisattva; taking rebirth according to the dhyāna, one transmigrates through birth and death. If one seeks the essentials of escape, one should contemplate the ten intentions (and so on).
