9.81

一切道定法門，皆於勝處轉變成就。心定自在，迴轉去住，作諸法門，隨心即成。如快馬破陣，亦自制住。是時明淨，無復魔事。心使於魔，魔不能破心也。行四三昧人，若發得此法，多轉入五品弟子位。何故爾？助道力大，能疾近清涼池。齊此，是發觀禪，亦是發摩訶衍禪相。若練熏修，凡夫尚不得學，無發可論。若別出經論，故不俟言也。

All Dharma gates of the path and concentration are transformed and brought to fulfillment within the stations of mastery. With the mind concentrated and sovereign, turning around, departing, and abiding, whatever Dharma gates one engages in are immediately accomplished according to one's wish. It is like a swift steed breaking through an enemy line yet able to rein itself in. At that time, it is clear and pure, free from any further demonic deeds. The mind commands Māra, and Māra cannot break the mind. If practitioners of the four kinds of samādhi give rise to this Dharma, they mostly transition into the rank of disciples of the five ranks. Why is that? Because its auxiliary power for the path is great, swiftly bringing them close to the cool pool [of nirvāṇa]. Up to this point, this is the arising of contemplative dhyāna, and it is also the characteristic of the arising of Mahāyāna dhyāna. As for refining, suffusing, and cultivating, ordinary persons cannot even study them, so there is no arising to speak of. If discussed separately in the sūtras and treatises, it goes without saying.
