The distinctive teaching on the causal stage has teaching, practice, realization, and persons; if one approaches the result, there is only its teaching, and no practice, realization, or persons. Why is this? If, breaking avidyā, one ascends to the first ground, this is already the stage of the first abode of the perfect family, no longer the stage of the first ground of the distinctive family. If the first ground is already like this, how much more so the subsequent grounds and the subsequent result! Therefore we know that the causal person does not arrive at the result; hence it is said that "at the summit of the result there is no person."
