Tenth, contemplating the nature of transgressions as empty: one thoroughly realizes that the minds of greed, anger, and delusion are all gates to quiescence. Why is this? If greed and anger arise, where do they abide? One knows that this greed and anger abide in false thought; false thought abides in inversion; inversion abides in the view of individuality; the view of individuality abides in the view of self; and the view of self has no place of abiding. Seeking carefully throughout the ten directions, a self cannot be found; the mind of self is inherently empty, and transgressions and blessings have no master. Thoroughly penetrating the characteristics of transgressions and blessings, it illuminates the ten directions everywhere. Now this wisdom of emptiness accords with the mind, just as when the sun rises, the morning dew disappears at once. All minds are gates to quiescence, because they demonstrate quiescence. This overturns and shatters the obscurity of ignorance.
