「法付羅睺羅」，初一外道造鬼名書，隱密難解。龍樹一讀便解，再為提婆說乃解，更廣為羅睺羅分別方解。外道歎云：「沙門釋子神智乃爾，所讀我書如似舊知。」

"The Dharma was transmitted to Rāhulata." Earlier, a non-Buddhist had composed a book of names of ghosts, which was obscure and difficult to comprehend. Nāgārjuna understood it upon a single reading; when he explained it twice to Deva, Deva understood it; and when he analyzed it more broadly for Rāhulata, Rāhulata finally understood it. The non-Buddhist sighed: "The spiritual wisdom of the Śākya śramaṇas is like this: reading my book, it was as if they already knew it of old!"
