2.22

"May you rescue me from hardships and distress; / great compassion covers all.
Universally radiate pure, bright light, / extinguishing the darkness of ignorance.
To deliver [us] from the pain of poisonous harm, / afflictions, and various illnesses,
[You] will surely come to my presence / and bestow great peace and joy upon me.
I now bow my head in reverent prostration / to the one who hears names and rescues from distress;
I now take refuge in / the compassionate father of the world.
We only pray that you will surely come, / pitying my suffering from the three poisons,
Granting me happiness in this present life, / as well as great nirvāṇa."
