此五欲法，與畜生同有；一切眾生，常為五欲所使，名欲奴僕；坐此弊欲，沈墮三塗。我今修禪，復為障蔽，此為大賊，急當遠之。如禪經偈中說：

These dharmas of the five desires are shared with animals; all sentient beings are constantly driven by the five desires and are called slaves of desire. Because of these wretched desires, they sink and fall into the three destitute realms. Now that I am cultivating meditation, they once again form an obstruction. These are great bandits; one must urgently stay far away from them. As a verse in a meditation sūtra says:
