五、棄疑蓋者，以疑覆心故，於諸法中不得信心。信心無故，於佛法中空無所獲。譬如有人入於寶山，若無有手，無所能取。然則疑過甚多，未必障定，今正障定。

Fifth, abandoning the hindrance of doubt: because doubt covers the mind, one cannot attain faithful mind among the dharmas. Because faithful mind is absent, one gains nothing within the Buddha-Dharma. For instance, if a person enters a mountain of jewels, if they have no hands, they cannot take anything. Although the faults of doubt are very numerous, they do not necessarily obstruct concentration; here, it specifically obstructs concentration.
