如是等，但有四句，更無第五句。今約四句明法心可以類此。餘經論中設有五句明義別有因緣，今取一途義便，故不約五句分別。

In cases such as these, there are only four propositions, with no fifth proposition. Now explaining dharma and mind by relying on four propositions is analogous to this. If other sūtras and treatises posit five propositions to explain the meaning, that is due to particular circumstances; here we adopt the convenience of this single method and therefore do not distinguish by five propositions.
