問曰：此四種法心，法之與心，有何等異？如有漏法有漏心，此法心為當各是有漏，為當各非？故說漏若二各有者，法心合時應有二漏法起；若各無，和合亦應無。

Question: Regarding these four kinds of dharma-mind, what is the distinction between dharma and mind? For instance, with defiled dharma and defiled mind, are this dharma and mind each inherently defiled, or are each not? Therefore it is said: if the defilement exists separately in both, then when dharma and mind combine, two defiled dharmas should arise; if each lacks it, then when combined it should also be absent.
