一、明有覺三昧，如上所說根本初禪乃至特勝、通明、背捨、勝處等初禪，各有覺有觀相應心數及諸功德。行者入此等諸初禪時，住正心行處，皆名有覺有觀三昧。

1. Clarifying the samādhi with vitarka [and vicāra]: As explained above, the fundamental first dhyāna up through the first dhyānas of the sublime practices, penetrating clarity, liberations, and stations of mastery each have mental factors and merits associated with vitarka and vicāra. When practitioners enter these first dhyānas, abiding in the sphere of correct mental activity, these are all called samādhi with vitarka and vicāra.
