二、以本法修治，如發不淨觀禪，還修不淨觀，隨所修時，境界增明，此則非偽。若以本修治，漸漸壞滅，當知即是邪相。

Second, cultivating and rectifying with the original practice: For example, if the dhyāna of the contemplation of impurity arises, one returns to cultivating the contemplation of impurity. Whenever one cultivates it, if the realm increases in clarity, this is not counterfeit. If, through cultivating and rectifying with the original practice, it gradually disintegrates and ceases, one should know that it is a corrupt mark.
