4.78

今明治病法中，即為二意：一、明病發相；二、明治病方法。病發雖復多途，略出不過三種：一者、四大增動病相；二者、從五臟生病；三者、五根中病。

Now, in explaining the methods of curing illness, there are two points: first, explaining the signs of illness arising; second, the methods of curing illness. Although the arising of illness takes many paths, in brief it does not exceed three kinds: first, the signs of illness from the increase and agitation of the four great elements; second, illness generated from the five viscera; third, illness in the five sense faculties.
